What We Collect

UsersRated collects minimal data to provide our service:

• Ratings & Reviews: When you rate a store policy, we store the rating value and an anonymized hash of your IP address (to prevent spam). We do not store your actual IP address.
• Newsletter: If you subscribe, we store your email address. We never share it with third parties.
• Analytics: We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights, which collect anonymized page view data. No personal information is tracked.

What We Don't Collect

• We do not require account creation
• We do not use advertising trackers
• We do not sell or share personal data
• We do not use cookies for tracking (only essential cookies)

How We Use Your Data

• Ratings are used to calculate aggregate store policy scores
• Email addresses are used only to send policy change alerts
• Analytics help us understand which pages are useful

Data Retention

Ratings are stored indefinitely to maintain accurate averages. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us, and their email will be deleted within 30 days.

Third-Party Services

• Supabase: Database hosting (data stored in US)
• Vercel: Website hosting and analytics
