Why UsersRated Exists

Every shopper has been there: you buy something, need to return it, and then discover the return window expired or there's a restocking fee nobody mentioned. Or you find the same product cheaper elsewhere and wonder if the store will price match.

We built UsersRated to be the single source of truth for store policies. Not the marketing-speak version on store websites — the real, verified, shopper-rated version.

What We Track

• Return policies — standard windows, exceptions by category, receipt requirements, holiday extensions, online vs in-store differences
• Price match rules — which competitors they match, post-purchase adjustment windows, excluded periods, and practical tips
• Cross-store comparisons — "Does Best Buy price match Amazon?" answered with conditions, tips, and FAQs
• Shopper ratings — real users rate each policy on overall quality and ease of process

Our Methodology

Every policy on UsersRated is verified against the store's official policy page. We link to the source so you can verify yourself. Policies are re-checked regularly and updated when stores make changes (which they do more often than you'd think).

Shopper ratings come from real users who have gone through the return or price match process. We use IP-based rate limiting to prevent spam while keeping the process frictionless — no account required.
